The 5000 Question Survey - Part Five
TUMBLR! Long time, no see! I shall now continue with the ridiculously long survey that isn’t really that appropriate for this site. With that in mind, I’ll conceal it & you can just ‘Read More’ if you care.
Part Five 401. Some say that high school is the best time of your life. Was that true for you? Hahaha. NO. 402. What do you find yourself encouraging others to...

A brief review of 'Harry Potter and the Deathly...
I’ve just arrived home after seeing ‘Deathly Hallows: Part One’ at the cinema and my immediate overall reaction is that I loved it. It’s my fave film from the series so far (Part Two may top it!) and I think the fact that I haven’t read the book in ages probably added to my enjoyment.
I was particularly impressed with Emma Watson as Hermione. Her acting has improved...

The 5000 Question Survey - Part One
As part of my 100 Things to do in 1001 Days I aim to complete The 5000 Question Survey.
It is LONG (obv) so I thought I’d better start asap and do a section whenever I remember - there are 51 parts!
Here goes….
Part one 1. Who are you? I am Beth Phillips (nee McCabe), known on the interwebs as Princess_Beffy/Princess_Seahorse/variations on these names. 2. What are the 3 most...

The Pretty Reckless gig was v good - I do adore Taylor’s voice. Anyways, I needed to get a taxi back to the coach station afterwards so I went to get cash out and found that on the first try it blocked my pin. I was like “o_O WUT?!” because I knew I hadn’t entered the pin wrong previously and that there was enough funds in there. Plus, the last time I tried to get cash out...

Sabina & Ursula Eriksson - twin sisters who ran into motorway traffic multiple times before one of them stabbed a helpful stranger.
This is such a frustrating case! I remember watching the original ‘Motorway Cops’ episode and being perplexed and intrigued about the sisters. It’s one of the most bizarre real-life events I have ever heard of in such detail.
In some respects...
…………I feel like I don’t know what to post about on here unless I’m doing some sort of series that makes me blog everyday but I want a break before I do more ‘30 days of…’ stuff so I’ve come up with my own idea. I’m going to make lists of my top ten tracks by some of my favourite artists and will post one list a day for ten days. It...

Day 29 - Hopes, Dreams & Plans For The Next 365 Days
I know I’ve been a bit lacklustre when it comes to these posts recently but this is one I can definitely get on board with. In the next year, I hope & plan to:
Get a part-time job that I enjoy & stick at it
Pass the second year of my OU course
Continue being an Avon rep & earn enough money to make it...

Day 28 - This Year, In Great Detail
I was going to do this chronologically but figured it would be *slightly* more interesting (and probably easier for me) if I just posted this years’ major events as I recall them. So, in bullet-point form, some of the things I’ve done from September 2009 ‘til now are:
Went on holiday to the Isle of Wight for the first...

Day 26 - Your Week, In Great Detail
Urrrrm, I’m not sure I really want to do this in “great detail” because a)I already did a long, boring, detailed post today and b)tbqh, I don’t think I can remember everything that intricately.
Briefly and in reverse….
Today (Tues):
Lazy morning
Visited The Relaxation Centre for an Indian head massage and...

Day 25 - Your Day, In Great Detail
I was supposed to do day 25 yesterday but didn’t get around it to it so this will effectively be “Yesterday, in great detail”. It may be ridiculously boring. Consider yourself warned.
So, Monday 2nd August 2010. I woke up quite early but went back to sleep for a bit and got up around 9:15 am, which is relatively early for...

Day 24 - Whatever Tickles Your Fancy
I thought I’d use this as an opportunity to go off on one about my endless love for all things musical theatre. I cannot actually express how much I love musicals. The first musical I saw on stage was ‘Singing in the Rain’ when I was about 6 and, tbh, I can’t remember all that much about it but I know I enjoyed the...

Day 22 - A Website
This is a great site for fashion addicts and clueless shoppers alike. It’s basically a personal stylist at your beck and call 24/7. You input info about your looks/demographic etc and it comes back with lots of apparel to suit you. Pick what you like, click to visit the particular online store it comes from and voila! A new outfit that’ll flatter...

Day 21 - A Recipe
I’m not really sure if this is supposed to be a recipe I’ve created myself or one that’s an old family secret or something… but I don’t have one of those anyway. Instead, here is a link to a recipe on the BBC Food site (which has just about any recipe you could ever want) for crème brûlée - my absolute favourite dessert. Nom.
