30 Days of Me Day 20 - A Hobby Of Yours This is where I should insert a clip of me singing. Except I don’t have one. So you’ll just have to imagine. Anyway, I’ve been singing since I can remember. When I was really young I had a little casette player with a microphone attached and would carry it around, singing into it. I also used to put on shows for my family, which centred around singing - between the ages of about 5 and 10 they were all the rage in our house. I started theatre school when I was 8/9 where I did lots more singing and it was around that time I started writing songs as well. Right up until I was 19 I was involved in some kind of singing (mainly musical theatre and choral) on a weekly basis but then I became too old for the Cathedral Choir and, having left my drama group the year before, I became a bit music-less :( I haven’t found anything to replace this hole in my life yet (am looking into choirs) but I still sing around the house a lot! I haven’t covered this subject in great depth (despite this probably being my longest post!) as there is so much I’ve done but I think you get the picture….
